Jim Peterson is the founder and president of ConcreteNetwork.com, which he launched in 1999 to provide clear, practical information about concrete for both homeowners and professionals.

Before starting Concrete Network, Jim spent 14 years in the concrete industry and served as vice president of a major concrete contracting company based in Riverside, CA. His experience includes hands-on fieldwork as well as leadership roles, giving him a grounded understanding of how concrete work is planned, executed, and priced.

Jim has stayed closely connected to the industry throughout his career. He has attended World of Concrete 40 times and was inducted as one of the first members of the Decorative Concrete Hall of Fame in 2010. He has also been featured on the Ask Danny Podcast, sharing practical insights on concrete work and industry trends.

Today, Jim continues to guide the direction of ConcreteNetwork.com with a focus on real jobsite experience, accurate information, and straightforward guidance. That same commitment keeps him involved in the work, whether helping a friend with a driveway extension or keeping up with the latest techniques at trainings or conventions.
