Overlayment Procedures

Spray Down Application

After surface preparation has been completed, entire base coat is applied and allowed to dry. First piece of stencil is then laid on the surface (stencil roll is laid so that the stencil is NOT rolling up, memory side down). At this time you can use tape, putty or staple the stencil together. If needed, base coat is then sprayed thinly in area where the stencil needs to be weighted down further. Repeat until the entire stencil is down. The topcoat is then applied.

Stencil is removed as soon as the overlay is chipping free from the stencil.

Chips are blown off with a leaf blower and then seal to overlay manufacturer's specifications.
