Improper tie-down is one of the most common causes of accidents when pumping concrete. Support brackets, designed to hold pipeline in either a horizontal or vertical position, should be spaced every 10 to 15 feet in order to take weight off of the coupling joint, and to transfer the pumping torque to a building column or beam.
