(1 of 14) The remarkably deep tub is an icon in Korean culture used for not only bathing but also for relaxation.
(2 of 14) Not part of the original design, Mark added recessed grab bars inside the tub to aid the bather in entering and exiting. The design made the tub more usable without detracting from the overall design.
(3 of 14) Stones were inlaid and cast into the concrete. The pattern of stones is repeated throughout the bath.
(4 of 14) An overhead rain showerhead was installed which is customarily used to fill the tub.
(5 of 14) The custom sink features a slot drain. Water slopes down through the sink into a slot which disguises the opening of a regular round drain hole.
(6 of 14) A wooden shelf was incorporated into the concrete sink. It provides storage space without looking like a typical shelf.
