Web Site Offers Expert Resources for Concrete Industry
Hundreds of articles and tools keep contractors current and in touch with customers
Yucaipa, CA January 20, 2003- Concrete contractors can now visit one Web site to keep up with industry trends. ConcreteNetwork.com has assembled hundreds of resources for contractors, manufacturers and builders who need to know about concrete—all in one comprehensive resource.
"Our mission is to gather relevant and easy-to-understand information into one place concrete contractors can call their own," says Jim Peterson, president of ConcreteNetwork.com. Regular features like product reviews and contractor profiles keep visitors current on industry innovations, and dozens of articles are added every Friday.
One of the site's most popular tools is the "Idea Center," which features slideshows demonstrating fresh ideas in concrete applications like countertops, pool decks, interior floors, patios and more. A new slideshow is added weekly.
ConcreteNetwork.com also puts contractors in touch with potential customers through the "Find a Contractor" feature, which allows consumers to search for a local service provider by state, city and service desired. Hundreds of businesses in 164 U.S. metro areas are accessible through a simple search, covering 58 types of services and products—and new contractors are added all the time.
Features designed to inspire creativity, like the "Concrete Design Center" (where an interior designer creates rooms incorporating the latest trends in decorative concrete), not only introduce consumers to concrete possibilities, but also give contractors and builders new ideas.
In the past year, the site has seen a substantial escalation in traffic, says Peterson. "On an average day, we host between 6,000 and 8,00 visitors," he says.
ConcreteNetwork.com also offers hundreds of informative articles covering popular topics like driveway care, concrete countertops, the basics of ordering concrete, preventing cracks, safe rooms, etc.
"People are smart—they know what they want, and they want it fast," says Peterson. "We keep it simple but substantive with solid concrete information and local resources for concrete construction services and products. That's what keeps people coming back to our site."
Started in 1999, ConcreteNetwork.com is a Web site for anyone interested in the many facets of the concrete industry. Our mission is to deliver relevant and easy-to-understand information about concrete products and services to the building community from a Web site that is fast and easy to navigate.
